The “Promoting Sustainable Energy Practices in the Garment Sector in Cambodia”, called Switch Garment, was a four-year project started in May 2020 and ended in May 2024. The project was funded by the European Union SWITCH-Asia Programme. Switch Garment was jointly implemented by the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI), Geres, and Textile, Apparel, Footwear & Travel Goods Association in Cambodia (TAFTAC). The objective of this project was to increase competitiveness of the Cambodian garment industry through investment in sustainable energy technologies and practices. Ministry of Environment (MOE) and Ministry of Industry Science Technology & Innovation (MISTI) were two government counterparts of the Project. One of the key outputs of the project was Model Green Factory Program (MGFP). This reporting platform is to monitor implementation made by MGFP participating factory.
